We bring people together over food, music, dance and play to resist the impacts of the UK’s unjust immigration system.
The immigration system is hostile by design. It uses fear, violence, and limited access to support to isolate people from their communities and make it near impossible to live a safe and dignified life.
But everyone has the right to community, belonging and joyful spaces – so we set up parties and create spaces of collective joy which can be enjoyed by everyone.
We stand against borders that are created in our communities. One party at a time, we are building a community of resistance and joy.
We know that justice does not exist under the UKs current border regime and that systemic change is needed to ensure we can all love, live, work and move freely. There are many incredible organisations working towards this systemic change, and at CJC we work to bring practices of collective joy to help power this fight.
